Synopsis (Happy Ending Version)

Prologue – The Enchantment

In a quiet forest, a young girl, Odette, enters, drawn by the beauty of nature. Innocently, she gathers flowers, enchanted by their color and fragrance.

She exits, and moments later returns as a young maiden—still filled with wonder, yet more aware of the world around her.

Suddenly, the dark sorcerer Von Rothbart appears. His presence shifts the atmosphere, turning the forest from magical to foreboding.

Odette tries to escape, but Rothbart casts a powerful spell. Before she can flee, she is transformed into a swan—her freedom taken, her fate bound to the enchanted lake.

As the spell takes hold, Odette disappears into the darkness, leaving behind only the echo of her innocence lost.

Act I – The Prince’s Birthday

Prince Siegfried celebrates his coming of age. His mother reminds him that he must choose a bride soon. Though surrounded by friends and festivities, Siegfried feels something is missing—he longs for true love. That evening, he sets out to hunt, following a mysterious flock of swans into the forest.

Act II – The Enchanted Lake

At the lake, Siegfried encounters the beautiful Odette, who is under a spell cast by the sorcerer Von Rothbart. By day, she and the other maidens are transformed into swans; only at night do they regain their human form.

Odette explains that the spell can only be broken by a vow of eternal love. Siegfried falls deeply in love and promises to remain faithful to her forever.

Act III – The Deception

Back at the palace, a grand ball is held for Prince Siegfried to choose a bride. The sorcerer Von Rothbart arrives in disguise with his daughter, Odile, who is magically made to look exactly like Odette.

Using his power and influence, Von Rothbart attempts to manipulate the Queen, guiding her to favor Odile and encouraging the union. Under his control, the court is drawn into the illusion.

Tricked by Odile’s resemblance and the enchantment surrounding her, Siegfried declares his love for her, unknowingly breaking his vow to Odette.

At that moment, a vision of Odette appears. Realizing his mistake, Siegfried is overcome with despair and rushes back to the lake.

Act IV – Love Triumphs Over Evil (Happy Ending)

At the lake, Odette is heartbroken, believing all is lost. Siegfried returns, begging for forgiveness. Their love proves stronger than deception.

In this happy ending version, Siegfried bravely confronts Von Rothbart. Through courage and the power of true love, he defeats and kills the sorcerer, breaking the spell forever.

Odette and the swan maidens are freed from enchantment. As dawn rises, Odette and Siegfried are united, and love triumphs over evil—restoring peace and happiness.
